Sri Chinmoy Princes Park Race Report

14 January 2007

Congratulations to all who participated in the Sri Chinmoy Princes Park Run on the weekend. Mother Nature turned on her best running conditions with cool temperatures and no wind for our opening event of the year.

A special mention must go to Chris Hamer who sizzled around the 10km course in 31.46 just 1 second outside the previous course record. Andrew White and Kane Wille also recorded excellent times of 32.43 and 33.20 respectively to take out the minor placings. Not to be out done Jade Merrett ran an excellent time of 36.42 to take line honours in the womens race in 6th place overall, leaving many of the men in her wake. Results and photographs from the day are now available.

We trust that you enjoyed the day and we look forward to seeing you at our next Melbourne event is the Sri ChinmoyYarra Boulevard Run on Sunday March 25. Till then happy training.
