Update #2 on Vijaya's crossing.

Another report on Vijaya who is swimming The Channel at this very moment!

The conditions are excellent. A record in the men's crossing was nearly set today by Spanish swimmer, David Meca demonstrating to good water. 7 hours, 35 minutes. They say he is not a big swimmer but fast. He had trouble with the cold. Imagine that!

Vijaya is swimming with Pilot Mike Oram who has assisted with her previous attempts and knows the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team swimmer's philosophy well.

He says her swim is going quite smoothly. In fact at the 1/4 and 1/2 way points she is better along than ever. Mike says, if she doesn't talk on the feedings every 30 minutes, she is well on to a sub-20 hour swim! But swimmers know, FAST feeds are really key to a successful crossing. A very good day for her so far.

Keep swimming Vijaya, our brave warrior sister! This time, the water is your battlefield!
