Namitabha Arsic won the Seventh Annual Self-Transcendence 3100 MIle Race Sunday morning,in a time of 49 days +02:24:45. This was his fifth finish of the race around the block in a Jamaica, Queens, New York neighborhood. Mr. Arsic averaged 63.13 miles per day, his second best of the five completions. He has now  run a staggering 21,031 miles around the .5488 of a mile course over the duration of seven summers.He went back on the race course after a brief celebration to record the 5000 km split (49+04:15:13). At the end of the day, Andreas had 52 laps remaining to reach 3100 miles, so his finish is looming Monday afternoon. The rest of the runners are carrying on, stoic, if not focused on their tasks at  hand.
