Day 35 - Saturday 19th July 2003

Andreas Puntigam took day honors with 62.0144 miles. Matt Boulton and Namitabha Arsic followed the way with 60.3680 miles each, as the moderate summer weather continued. Suprabha Beckjord passed the 2000 mile mark for the eighth time in her running life (34+02:07:16) .The first five weeks have proven that this race is still one of the hardest races in the world. The weather, the course, the daily mileage, the distance itself are all challenges that only the strong and brave can overcome.
