Day 34 - Friday 18th July 2003

Namitabha and Andreas must be locked into some unwritten pact. They both reached 63.66 miles. They are matching each other step by step. Even in the rain and thunderstorms last night, the pair carried on. It is inspiration – time, and fun to watch.

Matt, 70 miles is a fantastic achievement for someone who has already been running for over a month. You never cease to amaze us with your miracles. Keep up the good work.
Veeraja, Melbourne.
Matt, your amazing day blew us all away. Grace descends when we pass the mind’s barriers. Keep it up good guy, and all our sincere best wishes and support, are with you in your actions as a true heroe. Way to go Matt.
Nick File and the New Zealand centres.
WOW!!! 70.2464 miles!! Good on you Matt - Everyone in Brisbane is cheering for you!!
Mike Williams, Brisbane
Matt seems to be getting lots of virtual Aussie cheer messages ...... (and rightly so) but the Celtic virtual cheer leaders are in full swing and here's a message from a Cornishman living in Scotland with a deep love of Abichal's home country of Wales. May the Celtic spirits (amongst others) inspire you in your journey. May your heart feel the valleys of Wales and the HIghlands of Scotland as you glide across the miles in New York. Keep it steady but let’s have an Abichal charge every now and then.
Tarit, Scotland
SUPRABHA! NAMITABHA! ABICHAL! MATT! ANDREAS! TRISHUL! OUR HERO RUNNERS!
Everyday here in San Francisco, we watch your results posted on the site - breathlessly!!
Your running is so absolutely inspiring ... each time I start to do something that seems hard, all I have to do is think of the running you are doing each day out on the course in Queens and I go on and just do it!
I made a chart to post in the restaurant that I update everyday with your miles and photos and the daily updates. If I don't post it right when I arrive - people always start asking about what is happening at the 3100 today
Suprabha! I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE YOU!! Sunday evening - ok! This 7th 3100 Race is so significant for us all - but I tell you, the girls everywhere are filled with so much love and pride and gratitude for your running effort again this year!
Abichal! What a great transcendence for you! I thought The English Channel was next... Well, after this 3100 Race, The Channel will feel easy - cold, but easy!
Matt! You blew us all away with that 70 miler! AWESOME and keep up the amazing effort.
What an inspiration you are to so many runners who think they might someday like to try this multi-day running!
Namitaba, Andreas and Trishul! Everyday your miles bring you closer to the goal and we are watching the them in wonder and with such admiration! We especially love to see the great photos showing the camaraderie and support between all of you.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
