Day 22 - Sunday 6th July 2003

The heat continues, the air is still, the runners struggle again. Only Andreas and Namitabha reach 60 miles, the rest of the field dig deep to find the resolve to continue. Suprabha passed 1300 miles for the eleventh time in her career (21+04:44:44). Matt reached 1000 miles for the first time (21+11:20:53). Reaching milestones or new ground definitely helps the runners to keep plodding in 90ºF, sticky-hot conditions.
