Day 21 - Saturday 5th July 2003

The broiler temperature went up to 95ºF. Namitabha led the group again with 63.6608 miles, a remarkable achievement considering the dreadful heat and humidity. He passed 1300 miles (20+01:21:03 ) for the seventh time. Andreas and Suprabha hung on for 60 miles. The others struggled or survived. Matt had his best day since the first, reaching 53.2336 miles. Trishul said, “ Is this torture or what?”. Not really, If you love or at least tolerate it. It won’t be this hot forever. Tomorrow, some relief. Only thirty days to go.
