His focus and solid running through the night helped his chances at procuring another win, but he is happy just to run well, given the doubtful state of his knee. Trishul, the cagey veteran of so many races, is giving it his best shot as the hours and days tick down. Nataliya Hlushchek is holding off Sarah Barnett for the women, but she has lost 17 miles of lead in the last 48 hours. If she has enough left to hold off the Aussie is the question as only three days remain. Day 3 Six Day Dipali Cunningham reached 250 miles for three days,as she is dominating the race once again. The eight-time winner has a 29 mile lead over her female competitors. Glen Turner from Boulder,Colorado took over the men’s lead with a 73 mile day. Friederike Makowka from Geneva, Switzerland moved into third for the ladies after a fine 73 mile day.
