injury ‘forced his hand’. Nataliya ran 69 miles to take over the ladies race,
and her 152 mile total made her the overall leader. Stela Doni of Maldova had a
great second day of 60 miles,as she stayed out on the course for much of the
evening. Trishul Cherns, the 25-year veteran of multiday races led the men with
71 miles and tied Barney McBryde for men’s leader with 144. The clear weather
