The 11th Self-Transcendence 10 Day Race
So the runners have begun their Self-Transcendence 10 day journey under clear skies in Flushing Meadow Park, Queens, New York. Several late cancellations and a few late additions have made this, the one of the largest fields this race has ever had. Temperatures are on the cool side at night but forecast to be in the mid 60's today and dry for the better part of the first week. At the 21 hour point, Rimas was leading the mens race with 97 miles with Barney Mcbride just behind on 93 and Pavol was lying in third place with 73. In the ladies, Pratishruti Khisamoutdinova was leading with 73 miles followed closely by Nataliya Hlushchuk on 72 and Sarah Barnett in third spot. The complete days results will be posted sometime this evening. Stay tuned to the galleries pages as there should be photos going up everyday |
