Danny Ripka, 47, set an American age-group (45-49) record (pending ratification) of 478 miles, winning the Eighth Annual Self-Transcendence Six Day Race. Martin Wagen,35, from Switzerland  finished second for the men with 441 miles. Dipali Cunningham,46, from Melbourne, Australia easily took the women’s title with 474  miles, followed by Kaneenika Janakova from Slovakia with 407.
