The Self-Transcendence 10-day race begins tomorrow, Wednesday 27 th April and these runners will be joined on May 1st by the 6-day race runners. Some 54 runners have signed up for the multiday races, a couple more than last year and some interesting challenges will be taking place. Luis Rios is surely in with a shout as is everybody, as Rimas Jakelaitis is taking a break from the 10-day for the first time in many years and will be running with reigning champion, Dipali Cunningham who will be defending her amazing record of winning every ladies 6-day race since its inception in the Spring of 1998.
