New York: 6 & 10 Day Race Update - Day 8/4

NEW YORK: The Self Transcendence 6 & 10 Day Race.

Ten Day Race - Day 8
After eight days of the Ten Day race, Rimas Jakelaitis is still maintaining his lead. However, Lenka Svecova has taken the second position overall with 530 miles, and will force Rimas to stay on the course more until Saturday at noon.

Six Day Race - Day 4
Dipali Cunningham has fashioned an insurmountable lead, as she competes with her own record distance of 510 miles, set in 2001. She is only three miles back of her best performance, with good weather forecast for the next two days. She will perhaps win another ultra over all competitors for the sixth time in her career.
