Self Transcendence 1 mile race 28 may edinburgh scotland

The magic of the mile bought 60 runners to the Meadows for the Self Transcendence 1 mile race.

Dan Mulhare of Napier University and Corstorphine’s  Dougie Selman led out the field with Mulhare proving the stronger in the finishing straight to finish 4 secs ahead of Selman.

Isolbel Knox was a comfortable winner of the women’s race.  Veteran honours were taken by John Graham 1^st MV50 and Alan McLeod 1^st MV60.

Special mention to Debbie Macdonald, who will probably be embarrassed to get a special mention) but it was good to see her just over 3 weeks after “her minor operation!” jogging around with young Niamh Jarvis.  Debbie’s come back has started.
