Distances were down on previous years, perhaps because the race was held at night in very low temperatures. Walkers and marshalls alike braved the cold conditions and the result was avery uplifting event for all concerned - our thanks go to all Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team members from around the world (Canada in particular) who made the event possible.
The Self Transcendence 12 Hour Walk is held on April 12th every year to commemorate the arrival in America from India of Sri Chinmoy (April 13th 1964).
