In the Self-Transcendence Half-Marathon, returning May winner, Wondwossen Negash missed the start by 5 minutes but was still talented enough to run with ankle weights and win comfortably in 1.22.50 - over 10 minutes ahead of Malcolm Chamberlin (1.33.19) and James McGoram (1.39.27).
Women's winner Jenny Howe was also a clear winner in 1.34.52 from Cate Creeners (1.48.35) and Verna Cook-Jackson (2.01.51).
71 year old masters champion Gary Regtien ran 1.55.53.
In the 10 Km race Peter Bosch was 1st in 40.16 from Jean-Michel Talbot (41.43) and Philip Barlow (41.43).
16 year old Samantha Blanch (42.50) easily won the women's 10 km race from Vanessa Murray (48.28) and Melanie James (49.13).
