Real spring race. Beautiful sun for a beautiful day and plus it was a "Joke day" in Macedonia. Everything was nice and beautiful. Large number of runners came for the "Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race". It seems that this was a last check before the tomorrow's Cross Country Races - "Sri Chinmoy Cross-Country Races".

The weather was cloudy, cold without any wind. The course was perfectly cleaned without any leaves. The race is held in a park on 1 km loop. Participants ranged from 20 to 72 years.

The morning drizzling rain that stopped right before the start of the Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race didn't discourage the runners to come to the race. The race itself has had it guest, it was Ashru from Austria how is former junior golf champion. Track was perfectly clean and the rain that has been falling during the night just add to the nice feeling during the run. The highlight of the race was new personal record of Ljupka. Ekalabhya although now with hand injury didn't want to miss the race as always. Elena that is still recovering from foot injury couldn't stand and ran 2 km.

It seems that clouds have discouraged some of the regular runners of the Sri Chinmoy 2 Mile Race. However, although small number of runners participated, it was an interesting race with one new personal record - this time it was a new record of Toni K. And the record itself was the greatest surprise for Toni. Sincere congratulations Toni!!!
