A 95 year old Japanese sprints to new world record. In the age group 95-99 years he broke the old record by 2 seconds for 100 m.

Tokio - The newspaper "Asahi" reports today that Kozo Haraguchi smashed the 100 m time set by Erwin Jaskulski by 2 seconds. The Japanese sprinted the 100 meters in 22,04 seconds. His only thought was not to stumble as spectators cheered him to his victory says Haraguchi after his record sprint. The active sportsman already hold the record for 100 meter dash in the age group 90-95. In September 2000 he ran it in 18,08 seconds. Haraguchi started his running career late with the age of 65.
