Ashrita balancing tallest object ever!
Once again, Ashrita Furman succeeded in a Guinness Recored attempt. Ballancing the tallest object ever on his chin!
In Antalya, Turkey on 11 December 2007 record breaker Ashrita Furman accomplished an other of his miraculas feats. In an antique aspendos theatre he ballanced a fibreglas plone with a total length of 16.6 meters. It took him 3 attempts to finally balance the pole on his chin for more than 10 seconds, exactly 13.8 seconds.
Even though it was quite windy he was very happy and said: "We just broke the record, we did 16.6 metres and it's the tallest object balanced on your chin and you have to hold it for 10 seconds. So we did it even though it was quite windy - we managed to do it and I'm very very happy ".
Ashrita sais his success in breaking records lies in his meditation. He is a student of renowned teacher Sri Chinmoy.
