One of Sri Chinmoy Cycling teams first training camps was a success with me and Dave.
Saturday I cycled both ways over Kirkstone Pass. It is one of the better ascents and descents being not ridiculously steep like hardknot pass . The problem is getting slowed down by cars on the way down. I cycled about 70 miles also visiting Haweswater.
Sunday I was joined by Dave we took in the lakes of Windemere and Conistone. Weather was good and I took some pictures.

On Sunday afternoon we went to a concert in a cave given by our friends who were also staying in the Lake District. The group is called Ananda and was seen by about 40 people. After concert I called Andy Sherwood who had just completed 415 miles in the national 24 hour championships v. impressive.
NIk Gardener the winner completed 505 miles....
