Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon Race Report 2008
For the first time in the history of the Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon, the entire field – every solo entrant and every team – crossed the finish line, and all within the cut-off time. Though a few team members did not complete their legs and one or two cut-offs were missed along the way, this achievement is an extraordinary testament to the spirit and commitment of the field, aided by the best conditions yet experienced for the race.

23 November 2008: Whoever was orchestrating the weather for Sunday morning in Centennial Park seemed unable to make up their mind – will it be calm or will the wind blow? Will it rain or shine? In the end, we got a bit of everything – a few light showers and a morning too cool for sunbathing, but ideal for a run in the Park.

Sri Chinmoy National Capital Swim Race Report
9 November, 2008: The spirit of self-transcendence – integral to Sri Chinmoy’s philosophy – was notable at this year’s Sri Chinmoy National Capital Swim. It was a record field for solo competitors, with 31 brave souls completing the 9.4 km distance, most of them choosing to endure the cool morning waters without the aid of wetsuits.
