Sri Chinmoy Williamstown Foreshore Race Report
10 December 2006, Williamstown

Congratulations to all who battled in the extremely hot and trying conditions at Williamstown on Sunday. Despite the the soaring temperatures we were very pleased to see so many turn out to celebrate the end of another running season.
Special mention must go to Ross Henderson (pictured right) who whipped around the course is a sensational 33.37 beating many a man half his age as well as completing the first 5km ahead of the whole 5km field. A very special mention also to George Winterton who at 85 years young, completed the 5km walk in a sprightly 53.22. Well done to you both.
Results and photographs from the day are know available online and we look forward to seeing you at one of our races in 2007.
On behalf of all of us at Sri Chinmoy Races I would like to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a joyful New Year.
Regards
Veeraja
