Jesper Olsen Completes Australian Leg of World Run

On 11 February 2005, Jesper Olsen, 33, from Denmark, ran into Perth to complete the Australian leg of his attempt to run around the world.
Olsen left London on the first of January last year and has run
over 17,900km since.This has included running through the European
winter, the
long stretches of Siberia which included a close call with a Siberian
bear and getting caught in the typhoon and earthquake in Japan. Olsen’s run can be followed at www.worldrun.org.
