Rathin entered the ranks of the legends with his finish of 3100 miles in 2004. He completed the distance in 54 days,15 hours, ranking himself 17th alltime for 3100 miles. Last year he made it two finishes, crossing the line in 56 days 11 hours. In 2003, he went for broke and entered the 3100 Mile Race with limited ultra experience. After withstanding the assault of injuries and fatique, he toughened up and continued on to run 2818 miles in 60 days, averaging 47 miles(75.57 km) per day. He has run eight ultras in ten years of running.
