Virtual Cheer Squad - July 24

Cheers from around the world for the 3100 Mile runners.

Hiya Matt!
I've been meaning to congratulate you for reaching 2000 miles, but by the
time I got my act together, that was old news. So I decided to applaud your
2100 miles (only 1000 to go!)... but even that happened ages ago. OK, so I
see your distance is 2230 - but that's out of date! So... may I be the very
first person to applaud you for reaching 2400 miles!

To my disappointment, I won't be there to see you finish this year - but
you're well on track to breaking the legendary Pat Farmer's Australian
distance record. (Just don't enter politics like he did...)

Mark

Every day I shall make
     My determination infinitely stronger
     To offer something supremely worthwhile
          To God
For His full manifestation here on earth
          In the New Millenium.

alles Gute weiterhin!
Markus

Pratul

Dearest Arpan and All of My Brothers and Sisters participating in the 3100-mile God-awareness event,

My poem-offering to you today is one of Sri Chinmoy's songs.

Do not give up!
Tomorrow you will pluck
Love-stars from above.
You will become within God-dove.
You will be the connection-tie
Between humanity's sigh
And Divinity-sky.
Do not give up!

Dharmaja Acterman

Dear runners,

today I tried a new way to find out what you might find amusing or entertaining...

So I found a nice page on riddles. Maybe it helps for a short time to keep the mind busy in a funny way.

After nearly 3 month running pause caused to injury I now started running again.

Slowly and carefully I am trying out and it gives me tremendous joy and joy and endless joy.

So I am now at 4 days per week (it it the third week now that I started again) for about 30 ? 40 minutes per run. In comparison to your daily task it seems so insignificant. But for me it is a good step foreward again.

I hope that you are healthy and happy and confident and determined and joyful and not hungry or thisty.

Just perfect, now after such a long time of daily runnung such high milages you must feel as the conquerors of the worlds. Maybe very humble, but so it should originally be.

Looking foreward seeing you all soon.

Enjoy

Anami

9. The word CANDY can be spelled using just 2 letters. Can you figure out how

  1. How can you make the following equation true by drawing only one straight line:

The answers will come tomorrow

Today I will finish with a precious poem:

SONG OF THE DIAMOND HEART
By G. Bluestone

The pine tree's voice is always whispering
Yet how many pause to listen?
For when the churning mind is still,
The Diamond Heart within
Reflects even the falling dusk that
Shrouds every eye and branch
And hears, but listens not.
Walking then, with Courage and Kindness,
Never ceasing to walk in Wonder,
We follow our ancient path.
For the Way of the sword is folded two;
Like the rose we have thorns,
And like the rose, we unfold.
